Texas Roadhouse Inc. president and CEO GJ Hart said the demographic for guests at the steakhouse chain is expanding, with the company appealing to more people with higher incomes.
Traditionally, the Louisville-based restaurant chain has appealed to blue-collar workers, he said during a presentation at the InvestKentucky Equity Conference Thursday at Churchill Downs.
“You’ll see more people dressed like us today than you’ve ever seen before,” he said to a room full of analysts and investors dressed in suits and jackets.
