Restaurant industry veterans Joey Eguia and Collins Orr of 1836 Brands to lead development of more than 60 Texas locations
Houston, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Twisted Egg Shack, one of the restaurant industry’s fastest-rising quick-service breakfast and lunch concepts, continues its rapid expansion with the announcement that Joey Eguia and Collins Orr, through their company 1836 Brands, have signed an exclusive Area Development Agreement to spearhead the brand’s growth throughout the State of Texas.
Under the agreement, 1836 Brands will oversee the development of more than 60 Twisted Egg Shack restaurants across Texas, making it one of the largest area development commitments in the young brand’s history.
The first locations are already in the works, with restaurants planned for the League City and Cypress trade areas in the Houston metropolitan market.
Eguia brings more than three decades of restaurant leadership experience to the partnership. As COO of Fajita Pete’s, and with previous executive leadership roles at Wings N More and BreWingz, along with founding Bayou City Wings, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, franchise growth, and developing high-performing restaurant teams. In Central Florida, entrepreneur Thomas Bell has signed a franchise agreement and is preparing to open his first restaurant in Lakeland, with a targeted opening date of December 1.
Meanwhile, Danny Juarez, following the successful sale of his insurance business, has joined the brand as a multi-unit franchisee and will develop two Twisted Egg Shack locations in the Austin metropolitan area.
With franchisees already penned for Manvel and Pearland, TX as well as Denver, CO, the recent agreements continue the brand’s impressive growth trajectory as franchise interest accelerates nationwide.
