First National Restaurant Chain to Add Pork Fries to the Menu

Logan's Roadhouse Just Upped the Appetizer Game with the Introduction of Pork FriesNashville, TN  (RestaurantNews.com)  Move over chicken fingers, Logan’s Roadhouse® is shaking up the appetizer side of the menu, and the industry, with the introduction of Pork Fries to its menu. Logan’s Roadhouse is the first major restaurant chain to bring Pork Fries to the table, offering a unique taste in appetizer options unlike anything the industry has seen before.

The brainchild of Logan’s Vice President of Food & Beverage, David Spirito, and his culinary team, Pork Fries feature boneless pork chops sliced into strips, hand-breaded with a seasoned flour, dusted with black pepper and garlic and deep-fried to perfection. The Pork Fries are served with a dipping sauce comprised of Logan’s house made signature Roadhouse Ranch dressing blended with cilantro and additional spices.

“Pork Fries play right into our culinary vision of focusing on fresh, made-from-scratch recipes,” said Spirito. “And, that innovation and creativity has resonated with our guests who are clearly enjoying this new item, which has become one of the hottest new appetizers on the menu.”

“We’re always looking for ways to make the Roadhouse experience real for our guests, including carefully crafting menu items that are craveable with a roadhouse twist, and  serving them up in a genuine, fun and vibrant environment,” said Len Van Popering, Chief Marketing Officer, Logan’s Roadhouse. “We want our guests to come in as they are and leave not only having enjoyed their meal, but also the memories they’ve made.”

But don’t worry – chicken fingers won’t be leaving the menu anytime soon. The Logan’s Roadhouse menu is big enough for a variety of Roadhouse heroes – old and new.  The Brand has been on a roll lately, introducing a string of new Roadhouse-inspired items to the menu and reviving classic favorites.

Logan’s recently introduced Brisket Nachos, which feature smoky, chopped beef brisket atop crispy tortilla chips; and the Slow & Smoked Platter, where guests can choose from a selection of meats, including bourbon brined half roasted chicken, sliced smoked beef brisket, slow-cooked pork shoulder, baby back ribs or smoked brisket sausage, served with seasoned French fries and bread & butter pickles.
