Award-winning Fast Casual Chain Announces Same-store Sales Increase of 4.9 Percent in Third Quarter
Alpharetta, GA (RestaurantNews.com) McAlister’s Deli, a leading fast casual restaurant, announced a same-store sales increase of 4.9 percent during the third quarter of 2013. In addition, year-to-date same-store sales are at 5.4 percent. This marks the 13th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entree sales, due to system-wide traffic gains.
“We are pleased to deliver another strong sales performance in the third quarter,” said McAlister’s President and CEO Frank Paci. “Our franchisees continue to provide our guests with great food served with genuine hospitality creating a loyal customer base and strong brand.”
McAlister’s will open 15 restaurants this year and has signed new development agreements for an additional 45 locations.
