The explosively popular poké franchise has seen impressive growth, working to reach around 25 locations by the end of 2024.

Poké House Comes to San DiegoSan Diego, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  The nation has fallen in love with poké, evident in the growing demand for the delicious dish and the expansion of Poké House, one of the fastest-growing poké restaurant concepts in the U.S. The company has added several new locations to its list of openings, with the most recent one announced for San Diego, California.

“Our team is thrilled to bring San Diego some of the finest, most delicious poké that the state has to offer. We have no doubt that the community will embrace poké fare and Poké House,” stated CEO James Deng. “The support of the city of San Diego and the positive reception of our newest location has been very exciting.”

Poké, a traditional Hawiian dish that hails from deep Japanese roots, consists of raw fish combined with fresh ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and sauces. For Poké House, all of the fish is sustainably sourced and all ingredients are farmed locally whenever possible.

“Our salmon is imported from a sustainable source in Scotland while our octopus and tuna come from Japan,” said Deng. “We have gone to great lengths and put many hours of research into our vendors, and the quality really comes through in the taste and presentation.”

The company has a goal of reaching around 17 to 25 locations open by the end of next year. Poké House is already on track for their goal with around 30 locations in various stages of development, which includes both planned corporate stores and committed franchise partners.

The fast-casual franchise is seeking more franchise partners to join, offering a comprehensive training program, marketing guidance, product resources, and ongoing operational support.

“We’ve created a simplified model to help entrepreneurs step into the restaurant industry very easily. Plus, they are getting all of the key connections that make us an environmentally friendly brand; they can feel great about investing in Poké House not just for the potential profitability, but for the future mindset that we uphold as a company,” stated Deng.
