New York, NY (RestaurantNews.com) The Warren, a cutting edge yet nostalgic bar/bistro in the West Village is now open serving diners nightly and hosting holiday parties. The location is as rich in history as the food is rich in flavor, Perched atop the grounds of the old Warren estate (dating back to 1740). Peter Warren, was British naval officer who made his fortune at sea before buying 300 acres in the city.
The party menus include favorites like the steak tartare (a house specialty), the grilled octopus with fingerlings, cauliflower and yogurt, the self-titled Warren Burger with roquefort, cabot cheddar or gruyere / onion jam, brick chicken with parsnip, wild mushrooms and fig jus and much, much more.
The Warren offers an ambience aided by an international wine program, craft beers and a daily rotating unique and inventive low proof cocktail offering that is guaranteed to never show up twice. The bartenders can come up with custom cocktails just for your parties!
The Warren, located at 131 Christopher Street, serves lunch 11:30 am to 3pm, brunch from 11:30 am to 4 pm, and dinner Sunday through Wednesday from 4 pm to 1 am, and Thursday through Saturday from 4 pm to 2 am.
