Red Mango To Host First National Conference

Red Mango To Host First National ConferenceLas Vegas is headed for a cool down as more than 100 frozen yogurt franchisees travel to the city April 11 – 13 to attend the first Red Mango National Conference.

Red Mango, the fastest-growing retailer of yogurt and smoothies in the country, will welcome franchise owners at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, bringing together the men and women who have built a national sensation in record-setting time. The gathering will celebrate the fast-casual brand that has grown into an award-winning chain, defying the economy while also changing the nutritional habits of people from coast to coast.

“Red Mango has grown tremendously since 2007 to redefine fast food in America, and our franchisees deserve the credit for putting health, taste and style in more than 115 stores across 25 states,” said Dan Kim, founder and chief concept officer of Red Mango. “We’ve built an incredible company and we’ve had an incredible time. This conference will celebrate that success with franchise owners and introduce our next steps as a category leader to continue revolutionizing our industry into the future.”

Red Mango has defied the odds and grown into a national chain in a down economy. In 2010, the company awarded agreements for 147 new locations, opened 62 new stores, entered 12 new states and grew the network to 102 total open stores across 25 states.

In addition, the company has already opened more than 15 locations in 2011 and plans to double the size of the network by the end of the year.

Kim will deliver a keynote speech, educational sessions will be offered to franchisees, and vendors from across the country will exhibit their services. In addition, awards will be presented to franchise owners for national records within the system.
