Salad Creations to Open Restaurants on University of Florida and Florida State University CampusesSalad Creations, a fresh and great tasting salad restaurant offering an alternative to fast-food for today’s healthy lifestyle, is expanding its presence on college campuses with ARAMARK, the world leader in providing award winning food services.  A new Salad Creations opened in January 2011 on Florida State University’s campus and a subsequent University of Florida location is scheduled to open in August 2011. Additional campus locations are in development.

Salad Creations, which has more than 50 locations worldwide, features over 40 farm-fresh ingredients to choose from including crisp vegetables, garden-picked fruits, cheeses, sliced meats, all natural grilled chicken, sustainable wild Alaskan salmon, and over 15 chef-designed salad dressings. Specially trained Salad Chefs prepare each guest’s order and, if asked, can help match particular tastes to customize the salad experience. All salads can be either tossed or chopped and are served in an environmentally friendly bowl.

In addition to a “Create Your Own Salad” option, Salad Creations offers more than 21 chef-inspired salads and wraps, plus a variety of daily soup specials. A number of locations also offer Panini sandwiches and a weekly rotation of frozen yogurt flavors.  

“The feedback on campus has been extremely positive,” said Tony Carlucci, Salad Creations location manager at Florida State University.  “Many of our customers are excited about the menu variety and value at Salad Creations. The most popular items so far have been the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Wrap, Sunshine Cobb Salad and Chopped Veggie Salad.”
