Grafton, VT (RestaurantNews.com) The Grafton Inn, an historic Vermont country inn located in the southeast corner of the state, announced a new program to serve the rural nature of the inn through a new Designated Driver program. For “driving” parties of four or more who dine at The Old Tavern restaurant, the designated driver will eat free.
“For years, we’ve had guests in the region comment that they love our restaurant and our wine menu, but don’t feel comfortable making that drive,” said John Cray, Grafton Inn Co-innkeeper. “We want our friends in Brattleboro, Ludlow, and points in between to enjoy the full experience of our restaurant. So for those who don’t want to stay at the inn, this program encourages a fun evening with us with no worries about the drive home.”
To partake in the Designated Drivers Eat Free program at The Old Tavern restaurant, reservations are necessary and can be made by calling 802-843-2231. The driver must be identified at the time of reservation. Diners must arrive in a vehicle (i.e., program not valid for guests staying at the inn). Parties must be a minimum of four people. The program is offered through March 17, 2012.
