Red Tapas Bar & Grille ‘Brings the World to Your Table’ Opens October 2012 in Palm Beach Gardens

Tapas Restaurant features Cross Cultural Cuisine, Special Sangria Menu, “Red Liquid Lava” Bartop Will Open in Downtown at The Gardens, Add 40 Jobs to the Area

Palm Beach Gardens, FL  (RestaurantNews.com)  With the goal of helping diners “taste the flavors of the world, one bite at a time” Red Tapas Bar & Grille (www.redtapasbar.com) aims to open in October of this year. “From Asian to Greek, Italian to Spanish and beyond, dining at Red takes your taste buds across the world” says Scott Sommer, Director of Operations for Red Tapas Bar and its sister restaurant, Cabo Flats Cantina & Tequila Bar (www.caboflats.com).

Red, geared for casual dining, will feature a menu listing a wide variety of hot and cold tapas plates, as well as flatbreads, paellas, desserts and a children’s menu.  Signature items will include:

• Duck and Waffle =  smoked duck, waffle, fried egg, real maple syrup

• Greek Ravioli = kalamata, feta cheese, spinach, aioli sauce

• Red  House Paella = chicken, shrimp, clams, mussels, scallops, calamari, asparagus, chorizo, paella rice

• Hum Bow  Dumplings = pork, carrots, celery, ginger, garlic, sweet apple hot sauce

Red will also feature an extensive Sangria list, cocktails, beer menu and international wine list.

Melissa Hartman, Red’s General Manager adds “Here at Red we believe everyone should have a taste, that’s what Tapas dining is all about. Every night of the week diners can bring family, friends or that special someone, order a little bit of everything, pass it around the table and enjoy.”

Currently under construction, the casual restaurant’s signature décor piece will be a bar top with red liquid, encased by glass and illuminated from below.

“From our vast success at Cabo Flats, we know how to deliver true flavor, original fun and a real value to all diners. We keep that tradition going with the opening of Red Tapas Bar” says Sommer. Weekly dining specials will include a 2 for 1 and half priced sangria pitcher night; kids eat free day; all you can eat paella special; ladies night; and more.

Red Tapas Bar expects to add up to 40 new jobs to the area.

The newest restaurant in Downtown at the Gardens is currently holding a contest where 5 diners, and their guests, will be invited to a pre-opening VIP party to try the restaurant out for free before everyone else.
