Clayton Staple Celebrates Milestone Anniversary With Operation Food Search Partnership
Clayton, MO (RestaurantNews.com) Displayed in Pomme Restaurant’s dining room is a quote by St. Louis poet, Howard Nemerov, “Finding again the world, that is the point.” Pomme continuously develops new ways to rediscover dishes, while also serving traditional favorites. On October 24, Pomme Restaurant of Clayton will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of simple elegance and tradition.
From October 16 through October 27 (closed Sundays & Mondays), Pomme Restaurant and Operation Food Search will partner to give back to the local community. Pomme Restaurant will donate 10% of food sales to the organization whose primary mission is to help alleviate the burden of hunger and its consequences.
To extend the “thank you” directly to the patrons who have made Pomme Restaurant a community staple for a full decade, the restaurant has also designated other special offers available throughout the 10-day celebration including waived corkage fee on any ’02 vintage and a chance to win a 10-year-aged bottle of Macallan scotch.
“Bryan and Diane Carr helping the hungry is a testament to their concern for others and their generous spirit,” said Operation Food Search Executive Director, Sunny Schaefer. “Operation Food Search is honored and grateful to partner with Pomme Restaurant in celebration of their 10th anniversary.”
Pomme (French for apple) first opened its doors during the apple harvest of 2002. Serving seasonal cuisine, Pomme offers dishes prepared with only the freshest ingredients. The restaurant delivers an upscale dining experience with its warm ambiance, accommodating service and attention to every detail.
“Our commitment is to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience creating a meal that is enjoyed from start to finish with every consideration being addressed,” said Bryan Carr, Co-owner and Executive Chef of Pomme Restaurant. “We are happy to be a part of such a strong local community and encourage guests to help us celebrate this milestone while supporting a wonderful cause.”
