Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. opened its first location in Kennesaw, Georgia on November 5th. The store is located at 1610 Ridenour Boulevard under the direction of local franchisee, Kent Latham.
“The journey is exciting and we are happy to finally open the doors to our new Dickey’s Barbecue restaurant,” said Kent Latham, who owns and operates this franchise location.
This is the first franchise opportunity for Latham and the sixth location for Georgia.
“The community is excited about the variety Dickey’s will bring to the table of fast food options,” said Latham. “It’s great to be a part of something that’s so different.”
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit began in 1941 in Dallas, Texas. Dickey’s began franchising in 1994 and since then has grown at an extraordinary rate. It is said to have 200 stores by the end of the year.
