Limited-time promotion invites guests to Farmer Boys to celebrate 45 years of farm-fresh flavor
Riverside, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Farmer Boys®, the West Coast burger chain known for its made-to-order favorites and fresh ingredients, is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a special invitation from CEO George Havadijas: celebrate with Farmer Boys and enjoy one of the brand’s most iconic menu items for just $1.
From August 17–23, guests can enjoy an order of Farmer Boys’ signature Zucchini Sticks for just $1 with any purchase at participating locations across California, Arizona, and Nevada. The offer requires the purchase of any additional item and is limited to one offer per transaction, per guest, per visit, while supplies last. The offer is not valid with any other offer, discount, or combo purchase; no substitutions or split orders are permitted; and it is not valid on third-party delivery. Tax extra.
“For 45 years, our guests have made Farmer Boys part of their lives, and this anniversary is our chance to say thank you,” said George Havadijas, CEO of Farmer Boys. “I’d like to invite everyone to stop by Farmer Boys, celebrate with us, and enjoy our Zucchini Sticks for just $1 with any purchase. They’re one of the menu items that’s been part of the Farmer Boys experience for generations, and while they may seem simple, every order is prepared through a meticulous process involving more than 25 steps using fresh zucchini. It’s our way of sharing something our guests already love while celebrating this milestone together.”
The anniversary promotion also shines a spotlight on one of Farmer Boys’ most iconic menu items. Made with fresh zucchini, Farmer Boys’ signature Zucchini Sticks are hand-cut, double-breaded, and prepared fresh daily in small batches through a meticulous, multi-step process that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality. The result is a crispy, golden favorite that has become a guest staple for generations. Every year, Farmer Boys purchases more than 1.6 million zucchini to serve guests across its restaurants.
That’s a lot of zucchini. In just one week, the zucchini Farmer Boys purchases would stretch more than 4.1 miles if lined up end to end – about the length of 72 football fields. Over the course of a year, that distance grows to more than 215 miles, roughly a round trip drive between Farmer Boys’ Los Angeles (Alameda Street) location and its Escondido location.
The $1 Zucchini Sticks offer is part of Farmer Boys’ 45th anniversary celebration, which pays tribute to the brand’s history while giving guests new ways to celebrate with their favorite Farmer Boys menu items.
