Farmer Boys Puts a Fresh Spin on Halloween With Free Giant Zucchini Carving and Halloween Hot CakesRiverside, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Farmer Boys®, the West Coast burger chain known for its made-to-order favorites and fresh ingredients, is putting an exciting twist on a classic Halloween tradition by inviting families to carve giant zucchini into jack-o’-lanterns. The unconventional take on pumpkin carving is a natural fit for Farmer Boys, which uses approximately 1.6 million zucchini each year for its signature hand-breaded Zucchini Sticks.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, from 7 a.m. to noon, Farmer Boys is inviting Halloween lovers and families to share in the fun with free giant zucchinis to carve into their own Halloween creations at an on-site carving station. Kids can also enjoy a free Spooky Face Hot Cake, available dine-in. By sharing its bounty of oversized zucchinis, the brand hopes to bring families together for a morning of creativity, community and Halloween fun. Costumes are encouraged, and guests are invited to arrive in their Halloween best!

“Zucchini has always been a big part of the Farmer Boys story, and since Farmer Boys Zucchinis are large enough to carve, we thought, why not put our own spin on the traditional jack-o’-lantern this Halloween?” said Joseph Ortiz, president and COO of Farmer Boys. “It’s a fun, unexpected way to celebrate one of our signature ingredients while bringing families together for a Halloween tradition that’s uniquely Farmer Boys.”

For more information about Farmer Boys’ Halloween celebration, visit FarmerBoys.com or follow @FarmerBoysFood on Instagram and Facebook. The event and promotional offers are available in-store at participating locations only and are not valid on third-party delivery platforms.
