Limited-time collaborative sushi roll available Aug. 8 through Labor Day
Columbus, OH (RestaurantNews.com) Columbus’s two culinary innovators – fast-casual sushi pioneer FUSIAN and beloved Central Ohio barbecue icon Ray Ray’s Hog Pit – are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind, limited-time sushi roll, exclusively available at FUSIAN’s Clintonville restaurant at 4214 N. High St. beginning Aug. 8.
FUSIAN, founded in May 2010 in Cincinnati, quickly expanded across Ohio with the mission to make sushi approachable, fresh and customizable – breaking free from stereotypes about what sushi should be.
Ray Ray’s Hog Pit, a central Ohio barbecue institution since 2009, is known for its hardwood-smoked meats, bold flavor profiles and community roots across multiple Ohio locations.
This exclusive limited-time roll includes:
- Smoked pork from Ray Ray’s signature pit
- Sweet-heat layers of mango, jalapeño and jalapeño barbecue sauce
- Crisp super slaw with kale, shredded red cabbage and cilantro-avocado dressing
- House-made dry-rubbed tempura crunch for a savory crisp

In June, Ray Ray’s relocated its Clintonville operation from a mobile unit outside Ace of Cups into a new permanent shared space at 4214 N. High St., the former Wizard of Za, transforming the location into a combined ordering destination for barbecue and sushi fans alike.
