Tataki is a method of cooking meat popular in Japan. The exterior is seared and given a thin crust of pepper and salt, while the interior is left almost raw, resulting in a mix of crispy and tender meat in one dish.
“It’s like sushi with a twist. It isn’t all raw; it’s only raw in the center but well-done on the outside. Our salmon and tuna tataki give a unique combination of crispy and tender in one,” said Lime House founder Thanda Win.
“We always want to add more dishes to our menu gradually. This way, both loyal diners and new ones will find something new to satisfy their taste buds. We’ve found this strategy to be really effective in keeping Lime House top-of-mind in the New York restaurant scene,” added Thanda.
The Salmon Tataki and Tuna Tataki are available for both in-store diners and delivery. Diners are encouraged to try the new menu items soon. “We are confident that people will love them and keep coming back for more,” said Thanda.
