Iconic Detroit-style pizza brand rolls out a new generation of mobility with statewide events, giveaways, and a nod to its Austin beginnings
Austin, TX (RestaurantNews.com) What started as a single food trailer in Austin is hitting the road again – this time, on a much bigger stage. Via 313, the nationally acclaimed Detroit-style pizza brand, recently celebrating its 25th restaurant opening, is introducing a new mobile food truck that will serve a limited menu of its signature square pies at events, breweries, bars and private gatherings across Texas.
On Nov. 8, the Via 313 Food Truck makes its first pit stop at 512 Brewing Company’s 17th Anniversary Party – with a perfect pairing of cold beer and hot pizza. Entry is free, with new beer releases and live music throughout the day, and pizza service starting at 2 p.m. The first 15 fans in line will score a free slice (Cheese or Detroiter).
For its subsequent food truck events, Via 313 will serve up clues on its Instagram account, so if you’re looking to be the first in line for free slices, follow along. The brand will continue this “clue drop” initiative for future food truck stops across Texas. Fans can also join the “Cheese Pull Challenge” by stretching and measuring their slice, and posting it on social for a chance to win free pizza for a year.
