Wingstop CEO Charlie Morrison: Feeding his passion to help the hungryCharlie Morrison has a job that allows him to literally feed his passion every day.

“My wife and I both are passionate about helping hungry people,” said Morrison, Wingstop CEO and North Texas Food Bank board member.

Morrison, 45, has held the top position at Wingstop since June 2012, when he replaced retiring CEO Jim Flynn. He previously served as the CEO of Pizza Inn for five and a half years and helped develop Pie Five Pizza.

“It was hard to leave, but of all the companies in Dallas, this is one that was of interest to me,” he said about Wingstop. “It’s growing like crazy, and it’s an awesome product.”

The company currently has 90 corporate employees and more than 300 workers at its 24 corporate restaurants. It also has more than 200 franchisees.
