Columbus, OH (RestaurantNews.com) Sunny Street Café is taking breakfast to brine new heights with its new Pickle Waffle. Launching Oct. 1 and available through Nov. 14 – just in time for National Pickle Day – this zesty twist on a morning classic favorite is guaranteed to make taste buds dance.
The Pickle Waffle is a crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside golden waffle loaded with sharp shredded cheddar and crunchy dill pickle, served with a side of chipotle ranch for dipping. For those craving extra indulgence, the Spicy Chicken & Pickle Waffle stacks crispy, hand-breaded fried chicken atop the pickle waffle, topped with whipped butter, syrup and a kick of house hot sauce.
“Pickles are having their moment – and deservedly so,” said Mike Stasko, president at Sunny Street Cafe. “Our team asked one another, ‘Why not pickles for breakfast?’ The Pickle Waffle was born, and it’s delicious and highly addictive. We can’t wait for everyone to dig in and get their pickle on.”

The Pickle Waffle will be available at all Sunny Street Café locations starting Oct. 1 and through Nov. 14 to make sure no one misses out on celebrating National Pickle Day.
