Earns No. 6 spot nationwide on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 Top Suppliers for second year in a row
Dallas, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Entrepreneur magazine ranked Champion, the Dallas-based PR and digital marketing powerhouse, No. 6 among franchise-focused public relations agencies nationwide on its prestigious Franchise 500 Top Suppliers list. This is the second consecutive year Champion has held the No. 6 spot and the fourth ranked year overall.
The honor comes on the heels of another prestigious industry accolade: in September, Champion was named to PRNEWS’ Agency Elite Top 120, which spotlights the most innovative and impactful agencies nationwide.
“Recognitions like these are a credit to our team, whose creativity, hustle and commitment to client success are what set Champion apart,” said Ladd Biro, Champion’s founder and principal. “For more than twenty years, we’ve focused on helping hospitality and franchise brands grow. It’s rewarding to see that work acknowledged at the national level, but the real win is knowing our clients trust us to deliver every day.”
Franchise development is the fastest-growing segment of Champion’s omni-channel services portfolio. Today, the agency’s client roster includes such powerhouse brands as Nothing Bundt Cakes, SPB Hospitality, Savory Fund, Twin Peaks, Rita’s Italian Ice, Golden Corral, Cheba Hut, Del Taco, Wahlburgers, Dog Haus, Handel’s Ice Cream, PJ’s Coffee, Tide Services, Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay and dozens more. Champion works strategically to amplify these brands through earned media, thought leadership and industry recognition programs. In 2025, that work helped nine franchise development clients secure spots on the Franchise Times Top 400 list, with several making significant climbs in their rankings from prior years.
Founded in 2002, Champion has grown into a fully integrated marketing agency with nearly 45 professionals based in Dallas and Los Angeles. Altogether, Champion supports more than 75 brands nationwide across PR, digital marketing, social media, influencer relations, franchise lead generation, crisis management, creative services and local market activations. The firm averages more than 100 store openings a year, has built one of the strongest national media networks in the industry and is known for generating impactful earned media coverage, from national campaigns to hyperlocal activations.
“We take our work very seriously, but not ourselves,” said Eric Spiritas, principal at Champion. “That’s why we’ve been able to scale without losing the scrappy spirit, creativity and fun that fuel big ideas. But these awards are not just about our team; they are a reflection of the outstanding clients who trust us to champion their brands. We are incredibly honored to work side-by-side with them every day.”
