Atlanta, GA (RestaurantNews.com) Church’s Chicken, the quick service restaurant chain, welcomed a new type of customer to its drive-thru window in Katy, Texas. The Church’s Chicken restaurant team and lunch time customers were caught by surprise but very pleased to see a group of cowgirls with their “ride” lined up to order at Church’s. The scene brought to mind a whole new meaning to the term drive-thru. More than fifteen cowgirls waited patiently on their horses to reach the window and place their order. Only in Texas would you see the drive-thru at Church’s Chicken become a ride-thru!
“Hold your horses,” said Church’s drive-thru order taker. ” We’ll be with you in a minute!”
