Craft-casual favorite enters 2026 with its largest opening pipeline yet, fueling continued culinary innovation and craveable “new-stalgia” menu experiences
Pasadena, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Dog Haus, the acclaimed burgers, brats and brews concept, is entering 2026 with strong momentum and a robust growth outlook. As the Southern California-based craft-casual brand celebrates its first 15 years of creating a memorable dining experience for everyone who walks through its doors, a full development pipeline signals its most prolific year of new openings to date.
“2025 was our best year yet, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and transformative years in Dog Haus’ proud history,” said CEO Michael Montagano. “As we celebrate our first 15 years, we’re pairing our strong brand foundation with a disciplined, strategic approach to growth. By aligning with experienced franchise partners, prioritizing high-potential markets and expanding both domestically and internationally, we’re building toward long-term success while staying true to what makes our brand special. This next phase of growth positions us to thoughtfully scale the brand and bring the Dog Haus experience to even more communities around the world.”
Dog Haus closed out 2025 as its most monumental year to date, securing new domestic and international development agreements that accelerated expansion across both emerging and established markets. Development is at an all-time high with a newly established 50-unit deal that will emphasize growth across the Midwest, as well as large multi-unit deals in Florida, Arkansas, and Ohio. Plus, the brand made its debut in Tennessee. Internationally, Dog Haus signed its first area development agreement in Mexico – building on its successful experiential pop-up in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In 2026, Dog Haus is poised to deliver the largest opening year in its history, representing the brand’s biggest expansion to date. New franchised openings will introduce the concept to communities in Arkansas, Ohio, Florida and Kentucky, while additional locations will deepen its footprint across established markets in California and Texas. This spring, the brand will also enter Puerto Rico for the first time with board member, franchise owner and strategic partner Jake Paul.
Culinary innovation remains a cornerstone of Dog Haus’ approach. Throughout 2025, the brand collaborated with chef and culinary creator Josh Elkin to amplify its reputation for bold, craveable flavors by leveraging his creative style on a series of limited-time items, including the Hot-N–Ranchy Corndog, Aloha Soopah Slider, Betr Burger and special Oktoberfest offerings like Bratzel Sliders and Bratchos. This partnership paid off in a massive manner – with these LTOs outperforming the previous year by nearly 50 percent.
Looking ahead, Dog Haus is extending its series of limited-time anniversary offerings spanning entrees, sides and beverages. The brand will also debut a playful “new-stalgia” theme, featuring beverage programs and menu items inspired by the bold flavors and pop-culture spirit of decades past.
“With a growing national and international footprint, a proven development pipeline and a continued commitment to quality and innovation, Dog Haus is entering 2026 with a clear runway for franchise partners and the infrastructure in place to support smart, scalable growth,” said Montagano.
