Iconic all-American burger stand and cult-favorite New York slice brand give back at five Las Vegas-area locations
Las Vegas, NV (RestaurantNews.com) For 80 years, Irv’s Burgers has served fresh, never-frozen burgers, and since 2012, Prince St. Pizza has built a devoted following for its Sicilian-style square pies. During the first seven days of October, the two are showing up for their Southern Nevada neighbors, directing 10% of all in-store sales to 58 Strong as the region marks the ninth anniversary of the Route 91 tragedy.
Considered one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history, the Oct. 1, 2017, attack claimed many innocent lives and shook the entire valley. Today, 58 Strong donates to the affected families, and contributions from all five local restaurants will help sustain that work.
“Vegas takes care of its own,” said Lawrence Longo, CEO of Irv’s Burgers and Prince St. Pizza. “Nine years sounds like a long time, but for the families still living with the loss, it’s no time at all. We can’t change what happened. What we can do is keep showing up for the people who are still carrying it.”
Each brand is carrying the message in its own voice. Prince St. Pizza is rallying guests around “Vegas Stands Together,” while Irv’s has put a local spin on its famous “Just For You” mantra with, “Just For Vegas With Love.”

From Oct. 1-7, every in-store purchase counts, whether it’s a Roadside Burger and a shake or a pepperoni cup-loaded Spicy Spring for the table. Diners will find Irv’s Burgers at Miracle Mile and Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Prince St. Pizza on Serene Avenue, and both brands on Durango Drive.
Prince St. locations at Durango and Serene are also giving a “Slice of Thanks” on Oct. 1 to all Vegas-area first responders, handing out a complimentary slice to law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and hospital employees who show a valid professional ID or are in uniform.
