New location introduces the brand’s healthy lunch and dinner options, serving fresh bowls, pitas, gyros, and family feasts in an elevated fast-casual style
Monroe, LA (RestaurantNews.com) The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill® has opened its first Louisiana restaurant location at 2600 Forsyth Ave in Monroe. The 2,300-square-foot restaurant, owned by local entrepreneur Ankur Patel, serves fresh, scratch-made Mediterranean favorites in an elevated fast-casual setting.
The fast-growing brand is known for fresh Mediterranean favorites and customizable meals, perfect for busy families who can pick up a quick take-home meal or relax together in the restaurant. Guests can choose options such as rice bowls, salads, and pita wraps with proteins such as gyro meat and salmon. Signature items include made-to-order Feta Fries, house-made dips, baklava ice cream, and rice pudding. There is also a kid’s menu featuring five Little Greek plates to choose from.

Beyond dine-in and takeout, the new Monroe location offers catering for corporate events, community gatherings and family celebrations. Catering options include build-your-own gyro stations, souvlaki skewers, traditional sides and desserts, giving groups another way to enjoy the flavors of the Mediterranean restaurant in Monroe.
