Despite the great taste and traditional burger toppings, the new Charbroiled Turkey Burgers have less than 500 calories. The burgers come in a variety of flavors, including Teriyaki, Guacamole and Mushroom.

Just in time for Lent, the customer favorite Northwoods Walleye meal is returning to Culver’s. The battered fish is accompanied by cole slaw, fries and a fresh roll. Despite its popularity this seafood favorite is only available for a limited time at participating Culver’s locations. Other great seafood options, like North Atlantic cod and shrimp, are available year round.

Baja Fresh Mexican Grill is rolling out a new “Earth Fresh” initiative. All Baja Fresh restaurants around the country have changed their paper products, including napkins and drink cups, to recycled paper and plastic. The plates are biodegradable, and the burrito wraps are unbleached as well. Baja Fresh hopes this will help the company trim down their environmental impact.

The Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY will be the site of a new Seasons 52 restaurant. Currently operating 20 locations, the chain focuses on fresh grill entrees and a wide wine selection. The mall location will seat nearly 400 guests in the main room, and will feature a piano bar that fits another 90.

NYPD Pizza continues its Florida expansion and is set to open their sixth location in College Park. April 30th will be the grand opening celebration of this restaurant, and guests can celebrate with $.99 pizza slices and giveaways.

To celebrate their 12th location in Houston, Texas the Bullritos chain offered a free weekly Bullrito for a year to their first 50 customers. Many customers camped out in front of the store to ensure they received their free year of Bullritos, and by 9 am the first 50 customers had been served. The chain offers a variety of fresh tacos, burritos and salads in a fast to-go format.

The Tootie Pie Company is opening its first Tootie Pie Gourmet Cafe location in Austin, Texas. Instead of developing a new location, the company is acquiring an existing cafe near the Arboretum and Domain shopping centers. The existing owners will continue as the general managers of the restaurant.

Harper’s Restaurant is offering a variety of new meal deals to help celebrate the NCAA basketball tournament. The restaurant features four HDTV screens for game viewing, and a $5 beer and burger special in the bar. Their $10 Gourmet Pizza deal consists of a choice of four different high quality draft beers and a custom pizza.

Shane’s Rib Shack founder, Shane Thompson, appeared on QVC’s Eating Gluten Free show March 23 to promote the $67 gluten-free rib pack sold exclusively through QVC. The pack includes 4 pounds of fully cooked ribs, barbeque sauce and a recipe booklet for creating your own gluten-free sauces at home.
