South Block's Fall Lineup Arrives with the Apple Crisp Bowl and Pumpkin Pie SmoothieWashington, DC  (RestaurantNews.comSouth Block, the better-for-you brand serving made-to-order acai bowls, smoothies and cold-pressed juices, is ushering in the new season with two fall-inspired additions to the menu: the Apple Crisp Bowl and the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, now available systemwide.

The Apple Crisp Bowl ($12.99) starts with a base of organic acai blended with unsweetened almond milk, blueberries and bananas, then piles on organic granola, fresh apples, almond butter, honey, pumpkin seeds and a dusting of cinnamon.

Also joining the lineup is the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie ($10.99), which blends real pumpkin and pumpkin spice with almond milk, maple syrup, almond butter, banana and mango, finished with a swirl of cocowhip.

“Fall is the season people get most nostalgic about, and flavor is a huge part of that,” said Amir Mostafavi, founder and CEO of South Block. “We wanted to give guests the tastes they look forward to every year without asking them to compromise on how they want to eat. Everything is still blended from scratch, one order at a time.”

Both items hit the menu well ahead of the first day of fall on Sept. 22. Every smoothie and bowl at South Block is made to order with real fruits and vegetables – and the seasonal additions are no exception. With its fall lineup, the brand continues to meet guests where their cravings are while staying rooted in its mission to make people feel awesome one block at a time.
