The fall menu brings back pumpkin pies and muffins alongside hearty Oktoberfest dishes, from bratwurst and potato pancakes to pretzel bites and beer cheese
Placentia, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Fall is making its way to Polly’s Pies, and that means it’s time for pumpkin, warm spices and a little Oktoberfest flavor. This season, the Southern California legacy restaurant is bringing back a lineup of fall favorites alongside a selection of German-inspired dishes made for cool-weather cravings, available now through Oct. 12.
Back by popular demand are four bakery favorites: Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Dream Pie, Pumpkin Maple Crunch Pie and Pumpkin Maple Crunch Muffin. Guests can also get into the spirit with Pumpkin Spice Drip Coffee, available throughout the month of November.
For those looking for something savory, Polly’s Pies is serving up a full Oktoberfest menu with classic flavors and a few Polly’s twists. The seasonal lineup includes:
- Brat & Eggs — $14.99: A Mattern Nuerenberg brat served with two large eggs and Polly’s potato pancakes, garnished with sour cream and green onions. The plate comes with pub mustard sauce and a daily bakery item of choice. Guests can upgrade to a Pumpkin Maple Crunch Muffin for an additional 99¢.
- Pumpkin Pancakes — $14.99: Two buttermilk pumpkin pancakes made with Coach’s Oats and topped with house-made cinnamon whipped cream, served with two large eggs and a choice of Jones Dairy Farms smoked sausage or applewood smoked bacon.
- Pretzel Bites — $7.99: Warm, soft pretzel bites served with rich and creamy beer cheese for dipping.
- Mattern Sausage Platter — $16.99: A traditional Nuerenberg brat and smoked cheddar brat served over braised red cabbage with apples and finished with a pub mustard drizzle. Served with Polly’s famous potato pancakes, sour cream and green onions.
- Pretzel Burger — $15.99: A juicy 6 oz. beef patty topped with applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, pickles and pub mustard, tucked into a toasted pretzel bun and drenched in beer cheese. Served with french fries.
