From pumpkin pancakes and Thanksgiving-inspired bites to a traditional turkey dinner, the Southern California legacy restaurant brings a little extra warmth to the table this season
Placentia, CA (RestaurantNews.com) As the weather cools and the holiday season approaches, Polly’s Pies is giving guests more reasons to gather around the table with a seasonal lineup of comforting dishes inspired by the flavors of fall. From a familiar breakfast favorite with a seasonal twist to savory bites filled with Thanksgiving staples, the latest offerings bring together the kind of homestyle cooking guests have come to know and love from Polly’s.
Breakfast gets a seasonal addition with Pumpkin Pancakes ($14.99), featuring two buttermilk pumpkin pancakes made with Coach’s Oats and topped with house-made cinnamon whipped cream. The plate comes with two large eggs and a choice of Jones Dairy Farms smoked sausage, applewood smoked bacon, turkey sausage or a 3-ounce ham slice.
The Holiday Hushpuppies ($9.99) feature six crispy bites filled with oven-roasted turkey, stuffing, red-skin smashed potatoes and cheddar cheese, finished with turkey gravy and served alongside zesty cranberry sauce.

Those looking for something warm and filling can settle in with Polly’s Chili, a slow-simmered bowl of ground beef, sweet onions, garlic, red and green bell peppers, tomatoes and a blend of spices. Kidney and pinto beans round out the entree, with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and green onion on top. Served with freshly baked cornbread, the chili is available in a cup ($4.99) or bowl ($8.99).

Thanksgiving classics also make an appearance with Turkey Day Sliders ($11.99), boasting slices of oven-roasted turkey breast layered with stuffing and zesty cranberry sauce on two freshly baked dinner rolls spread with mayonnaise and served with fries.

For the full holiday spread, Polly’s Traditional Turkey Dinner ($19.99) brings together oven-roasted turkey breast, homestyle stuffing, red-skin smashed potatoes, smashed sweet potatoes, Southern-style green beans with applewood smoked bacon, zesty cranberry sauce and turkey gravy.
“Fall and the holiday season are all about gathering around the table and enjoying the dishes that make this time of year special,” said Meghan Meadors, advertising and public relations manager at Polly’s Pies. “We wanted this season’s menu to bring some of those familiar Thanksgiving flavors into the Polly’s experience, alongside the favorites our guests know and love. Whether it’s stopping in for breakfast or sitting down for a traditional turkey dinner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
These signature fall specials are available for a limited time at all 12 locations.
