Dallas, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Friendly’s is trading sunshine for snowflakes. Available now through the holiday season, the Snow Days menu brings three seasonal entrées, a peppermint-packed dessert lineup and a pair of value deals to restaurants systemwide.
Leading the charge is a trio of stick-to-your-ribs plates made for sweater weather:
- Snowfall Burger: Friendly’s Big Beef® Burger with white American cheese, Alfredo sauce and hardwood-smoked bacon on a Parmesan-dusted pretzel bun, served with golden fries.
- Fireside Melt: White American cheese and Tillamook® sharp yellow cheddar with grilled chicken, hardwood-smoked bacon, tomatoes and garlic aioli on grilled sourdough, paired with golden fries.
- Harvest Stack: Sourdough bread piled high with stuffing, garlic red-skin mashed potatoes, grilled turkey breast and a spoonful of cranberry sauce, smothered in turkey gravy.
To keep spirits bright, guests who order any Snow Days entrée will receive a FREE Happy Ending Sundae, because every good meal deserves a sweet treat. Dessert takes a wintry turn with creations that call for an extra spoon, including:
- Snowball Fight Sundae: Vanilla ice cream and donut holes dusted with powdered sugar and topped with hot fudge drizzle, mini marshmallows, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
- Peppermint Stick Fribble®: Peppermint Stick ice cream drizzled with hot fudge and crowned with whipped cream and a cherry.
- Jubilee Cake: A yummy blast from the past, layering chocolate chip and chocolate ice creams beneath fudge drizzle, almonds and chocolate candies, finished with a playful pink frosted border.
Value keeps its seat at the table all winter with two deals running alongside the new menu. Better Together pairs two entrées with one appetizer starting at $24.99, or $29.99 for premium entrée picks. For a midday break, the Weekday Lunch Deal offers one of five select entrées plus a Happy Ending Sundae for $11.99, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids also have another reason to come back, with every kids’ meal including a sealed pack of Conehead Crew trading cards for a chance to complete the 18-card collection.
