Founded in the mountain ski town of Truckee, California in 1974, Squeeze In has developed a strong following of loyal guests known as ‘EggHeads’. Each restaurant features bright sunny walls that guests can sign with a sharpie, eclectic decor and art, and an energetic vibe that keeps locals and visitors coming back for more.

Menu highlights include hearty omelettes, generous mimosas, banana walnut pancakes, classic biscuits and gravy, award-winning bloody marys, eggs benedict options, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, and more. The team at Squeeze In prides themselves on taking care of guests like family.

“San Antonio has a strong food culture and a growing population, just two of the reasons we selected the greater area for our first location in Texas,” said Shila Morris, co-owner of the Squeeze In family of restaurants. “Squeeze In has become a generational favorite thanks to an unbeatable menu of breakfast and brunch classics, served with warm hospitality and at a great value. We’re looking forward to San Antonio-area residents getting a taste of what we’re all about in the new year.”

About Squeeze In

In 1974, a tiny little kitchen started selling omelettes to locals and tourists in historic downtown Truckee, California. Just 10’ 3” wide, and with only 39 seats, guests would literally have to ‘squeeze in’ to enjoy their breakfast at the little restaurant. As the list of omelette options grew, so did the popularity of the restaurant, and by the mid 80s it was a Tahoe/Truckee institution. Now there are 8 locations across 2 states with more on the way. Known for being cozy, eccentric, comforting, and fun, the Squeeze In has developed a following unlike any other. Franchise opportunities are available.
