Beloved Crêperie & Café sets dazzling grand opening celebration for Sept. 19
Cary, NC (RestaurantNews.com) A taste of Paris is now a short drive from downtown Cary. Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café has opened its first North Carolina location at 1 Fenton Main St., Suite 190, bringing sweet and savory crêpes, French-inspired interiors and an all-day breakfast menu to the Triangle while also providing an everyday Parisian escape.
The crêperie marked the milestone with a ribbon-cutting alongside the Cary Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Sept. 8, which will be followed by a grand opening celebration Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Festivities are open to the public and will feature live caricature artists sketching guests, a balloon installation for photo moments throughout the café and a giveaway of five Longchamp Le Pliage handbags. Guests can enter the giveaway by downloading the Sweet Paris app, scanning a QR code on site and joining the Sweet Passport loyalty program, where members collect “Whisks” toward rewards, receive exclusive offers and enjoy a specialty birthday treat. Entries will be collected during the grand opening party, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Bringing Sweet Paris to Fenton is such a natural homecoming and a place where the brand has always belonged,” said Allison Chavez, CEO and co-founder of Sweet Paris. “The community’s vibrant mix of families, entrepreneurs and students aligns perfectly with the welcoming atmosphere Sweet Paris is known for. We’re thrilled that the Virentes Group is introducing Sweet Paris to another exciting market.”
Founded in Houston more than a decade ago with a single mission – to “Revive the Art of Eating Crepes” – Sweet Paris has since grown into a national favorite for guests looking to slow down and enjoy a delicious meal. Its arrival in Fenton gives the Raleigh-Durham community a chance to unwind and enjoy a slice of Paris in the Tar Heel State.
“Opening our first North Carolina location has been a long time coming, and the welcome we’ve received from Cary has been everything we hoped for,” said James D’Aquila, franchisee and CEO of Virentes Hospitality. “The grand opening celebration is our chance to say thank you properly, and we’d love for the whole community to come celebrate with us.”
On the Sweet Paris menu, crêpes are the main event. Sweet classics include Nutella®, Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée and Dubai Chocolate, while savory builds range from Chicken Carbonara to Philly Cheesesteak and Truffled Caprese. Guests will also find breakfast plates, croffles, waffles, fresh bowls, salads and paninis, along with handcrafted lattes, premium matcha sips like the Iced Lavender Dreams Matcha, and breakfast staples including mimosas and the signature Spritz à Paris.
Sweet Paris Fenton opens at 8 a.m. daily – among the earliest in the Triangle – and serves its full breakfast menu from open until close, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
