Wilson County gets a front-row seat to inventive sushi, a high-energy atmosphere and the signature “Dine Out Loud” experience
Mt. Juliet, TN (RestaurantNews.com) Rock N Roll Sushi, the original American-style sushi concept known for its over-the-top rolls and music-inspired dining rooms, is making its latest Tennessee debut Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 1913 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Suite 100.
Located at Everette Downs near Sprouts, the new restaurant will join a growing mix of shopping, dining and entertainment destinations. Guitars, neon lights and leather booths will give the space a visual identity that complements Rock N Roll Sushi’s bold menu. Mt. Juliet locals Eric and Jenn Covell will own and operate the restaurant.
“Opening Rock N Roll Sushi here means welcoming our neighbors and families into a space built with love, hard work and a whole lot of personality,” said Jenn Covell. “We’re excited to serve great food, share our love of the brand and create a place where friends and families can come together, make memories and feel right at home.”
Rock N Roll Sushi launched in Mobile, Alabama, in 2010, built around bringing the energy of a concert to the dinner table. Signature rolls, hibachi and other crowd-pleasing dishes are paired with bold décor and record-style menus. Its “Dine Out Loud” philosophy invites guests to take their seats, turn up the volume and enjoy the show.
The menu will feature something for every member of the crew, from Opening Acts like Headbanger Shrimp and classic rolls to Headliners such as the VIP Roll, Volcano Roll, AXL Roll and Crowd Surfer Roll. Guests can also dig into hibachi entrées, shareable platters, ramen, salads and kids’ options before finishing with the Hall of Fame Brownies – a towering stack of golden-fried brownie slices topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel swirls and a cherry on top. The restaurant will open without alcohol service, with plans to add a full bar in the coming weeks. An extensive catering menu will also be available, with options for office lunches, family celebrations, parties and other group gatherings.
Rock N Roll Sushi Mt. Juliet will welcome guests beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23, with dinner service only for its first two weeks, opening at 4 p.m. and closing at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Beginning Oct. 7, the restaurant will transition to full hours, including lunch service, with hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be announced at a later date.
The opening marks Rock N Roll Sushi’s 13th Tennessee location and 81st restaurant systemwide.
