Denver, CO (RestaurantNews.com) Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is catching some serious heat for Monthly Drop #007. The latest installment of its Big Bad Monthly Drop series, Jalapeño Business, is available Sept. 1-30 for $17, including a classic side, and delivers a bold mix of sweet heat, crunch and savory flavor for guests who like their meals with a little attitude.
Built on a toasted brioche bun, the Jalapeño Business starts with a seven-ounce beef patty and cheddar cheese, then layers on fresh jalapeño slices, a housemade fried jalapeño popper and housemade raspberry bacon jam. A flash-fried fresh jalapeño finishes the burger with an extra hit, resulting in an over-the-top creation with plenty of crunch and heat.
“Jalapeño Business has everything we love about a Bad Daddy’s burger – it’s familiar enough to make sense, but there’s something unexpected in every layer,” said John Masterson, culinary director for Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. “The housemade raspberry bacon jam adds that sweet and savory balance, while the fresh jalapeños and fried popper bring plenty of heat. Then we finish it with a whole flash-fried jalapeño because, honestly, why not?”
Guests can also pair the Jalapeño Business with a $6 tall of Modelo Especial. The crisp, refreshing Mexican-style lager provides a cool, clean contrast to the burger’s spicy-sweet profile.
Available at all Bad Daddy’s locations, September’s drop continues Big Bad’s tradition of introducing unexpected, chef-driven creations straight from a scratch kitchen, giving guests a new reason to visit every month.
