Upscale restaurant to open its second Arizona location at SanTan Village in late 2026
Gilbert, AZ (RestaurantNews.com) J. Alexander’s, the premier dining destination recognized for its wood-fired cuisine, classic American fare and exceptional service, is preparing to bring its signature experience to Gilbert this November at 2192 SanTan Village Pkwy. The opening will mark the brand’s second Arizona location, following its 2025 Chandler debut.
In preparation for its opening, J. Alexander’s is building a talented team focused on delivering the brand’s signature hospitality, attentive service and high-quality dining experience. The Gilbert restaurant plans to hire 90 to 100 front- and back-of-house team members who will play a key role in bringing the brand’s elevated atmosphere to life for every guest.

J. Alexander’s will operate seven days a week, offering a menu of hand-cut steaks, signature salads and sandwiches, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. The restaurant’s polished yet inviting atmosphere extends to a private dining room, available for a range of gatherings, from casual meals to business lunches and special celebrations.
Hiring for the Gilbert location is underway. Interested candidates may interview in person at the J. Alexander’s hiring site, located at SpringHill Suites Phoenix Gilbert, 1801 S. SanTan Village Pkwy., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, J. Alexander’s will host a dedicated hiring event on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Candidates are still encouraged to stop by the hiring site before or after the event.
